It’s time for all you adrenaline junkies to saddle up as you ride out to perform some incredible stunts and bone-crushing manoeuvres on over 80 obstacle strewn courses in what could well be the mobile equivalent to Trials HD.

Motorbike HD by developer baKno games is a rather straightforward but nonetheless challenging Motorsport title; here the gameplay basically consists of linear tracks with various unconventional obstacles to overcome that become increasingly difficult as you progress through the game.

The first thing that I noticed about Motorbike HD is the realistic bike physics which can sometimes be both impressive and frustrating, especially to the uninitiated who may not be aware of the complexities involved in manoeuvring a two wheeled machine over uneven surfaces! Controls consist of four unmarked buttons for accelerate/brake, lean forward/lean backward; tapping this combination correctly requires an element of skill and understanding of real life physics which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The word of the day here is ‘balance’ and this will take some time to master, giving the game a degree of challenge that should keep casual gamers occupied for some time….

All baKno games are compatible with the latest operating system OS X 10.8 from Apple. You can download and try our games with confidence. And if you already own a baKno game, it will keep working without any necessary change after you upgrade your operating system.

Motorbike se nos presenta como un juego de motocross lleno de acción y efectos. Podríamos dividirlo en dos partes fundamentales:

- El modo principal dispone de 40 pistas. Puedes seleccionar distintos tipos de fondos y pilotos. Además, permite jugar pistas online que otros jugadores han compartido y me consta que son muchísimas. Conforme vayamos avanzando, el reto va siendo mayor.

- El editor del juego nos permite, básicamente, hacer todo lo que queramos: desde indicar el tipo de terreno, fondo, poner barras, barriles, contenedores, escaleras, minas, tuberías, railes, rampas, guillotinas, elevadores, rocas, neumáticos, coches, clavos, checkpoints, etc. En definitiva, dispones de todas las herramientas para diseñar el nivel como quieras, creando verdaderas locuras. El editor permite guardar la pista, cargarla, editarla cuando quieras e incluso subirlo a la red, y compartir tus creaciones.

Aunque Motorbike esta en inglés no representa problema alguno; la b.s.o es bastante aceptable; y está muy bien gráficamente. Su punto verdaderamente fuerte es el motor de física realista que permite hacer todos los trucos que un motorista de carreras realizaría y te dejará con la boca abierta.
