New Blog

The old blog page became obsolete and some of its content was lost during an update. As a result, we decided to retire it and introduce a simpler, more reliable way to document important baKno Games events.

Mar 2026

Motorbike has been revamped as well. Many small changes, some cosmetic other fixing minor functionalities. Fortunately, the main core play is the same and even a little more responsive, with the track editor and access to thousands of tracks.

New vegetation, water look, bike sounds, skyboxes, instructions overlays etc. Maybe the most drastic change is the removal of online gaming which was no longer supported by newer Unity versions.

In Apple, the game is now a Universal App which means that if you buy it for one platform, your purchase will be valid on all platforms as well (iOS, MacOS or VisionOS).

Motorbike now supports PS4 and PS5 gamepads which are necessary when playing on Apple Vision Pro. On Meta Quest, all controls fit in a single Quest handset controller.

Spotter 3.0 released. VR available

Dec 2025

Spotter is a 3D hidden-object game with a mysterious and thrilling atmosphere. The original release included two rooms, and this new version adds an entirely new Lab environment to explore. Additionally, we improved accessibility across all our games by removing the previous forum registration requirement for posting high scores—no registration is needed anymore, and the forum has been fully retired.

We chose Spotter as the next title to evolve because it is perfectly suited for a VR adaptation—and the result is truly outstanding. SpotterVR is now available on Meta, Steam, and Apple Vision Pro.

In SpotterVR, players stand at the center of the room, completely surrounded by the environment in full 360°. The atmosphere is dark and suspenseful. You control a flashlight with your left hand to reveal hidden details, and use your right hand to select objects. Spatial audio, haunting whispers, ghosts, and thunder complete an intensely immersive experience.

In Apple, the game is now a Universal App which means that if you buy it for one platform, your purchase will be valid on all platforms as well (iOS, MacOS or VisionOS).

Solitaire 5.2 released. VR available

Nov 2025

Continuing our efforts, Solitaire has been enhanced with improved graphics. We revised the existing card sets and doubled the total number by introducing alternate mobile-friendly versions, designed to be easier on the eyes when playing on smaller screens.

We also added a new "Finishable" option to all sub-games. When selected, a random solvable game is downloaded from our website. If a player completes a non finish-able game, that game is uploaded to our website and added to the pool of finish-able games. At launch, each sub-game included 20 finish-able puzzles. *Added: 6 months later there are thousands of finish-able games available.

The Virtual Reality version takes the experience even further. It can be played naturally with controllers, or—on headsets that support hand tracking—through simple, intuitive hand gestures.

In Apple, the game is now a Universal App which means that if you buy it for one platform, your purchase will be valid on all platforms as well (iOS, MacOS or VisionOS).

MahJong 7.1 released. VR available

Sept 2025

A few months ago, we planned our comeback. Many of our games need updates, and over the years we’ve gathered plenty of ideas and requests. We started with MahJong, releasing a new version everywhere.

We also created an exciting new MahJong version for Virtual Reality headsets, now available on the Meta Store, included in the Windows version on Steam, a direct download from our website, and Apple Vision Pro.

Additionally, we decided to discontinue offering our games on Google Play and Amazon. Instead, the Android version can now be downloaded directly from our website.

What's new:
We improved the purchasing and unlocking experience by offering not only PayPal but Stripe support as well. Payments are now verified directly within the game, making the unlocking process automatic—no need to manually enter credentials anymore.

The game runs faster and smoother with a new game engine and a new graphics pipeline.

The plan is to include all these improvements in all our games. But particular to MahJong the fixes are cosmetic. For instance the hint is now presented with a tile animation, the water look in one of the tile-sets was modified and we included an animated fire in another tile-set.
